Seongsan Sunrise Peak (성산일출봉)

 

Located just northeast of Seopjikoji, hydrovolcanic eruptions formed this majestic volcanic crater 5,000 years ago on Jeju Island. Being a UNESCO World Heritage site, this place is known for many things. Besides all of the rare species and plants, this place is best known for the magnificient sight of the sun rising over (despite it's name). To climb to the highest peak (180-meters) it takes 30 minutes.

Gongryong Ridge, Seorak Mountain (설악산 신선대 공룡능선)

Located in the famous Seroksan National Park, lies the Seorak Mountains. Physical fitness and mountain climbing experience are worth it to view these curious peaks in the Seorak mountain range. It got its name ("Dinosaur Ridge") because of how it's thought to be shaped like the spine of a dinosaur. The peak elevation of Gongryong Ridge, the most popular ridge route in the range, is approximately 1,200 meters.

N Seoul Tower (N 서울타워)

Located south of Yejang-Dong, the N Seoul Tower sits peacefully on the Namsan Mountains. To get on namsan isn't difficult, you can either walk or take the cable cars. This tower is a popular place for couples to visit, where they can put locks on the "Locks of Love" (As shown on the upper left picture). The tower is mainly known for it's amazing view of Seoul when you reach the top. The view is even more mindblowing at night. It is also known for it's delicious street foods and restaurants.

Yeojwa Stream (경상남도진해여좌천벚꽃길)​

The Yeojwa Stream is located in the city of Jinhae-gu. It is located far west of the Gyeonghwa Station. This attraction became popular right after a famous korean drama "Romance" (2002) was filmed here. Each April, the city of Jinhae is filled with cherry blossoms. This is known to be one of Jinhae's best place to view cherry blossoms. Bloggers say that these romantic blossoms can be most appreciated at night, when there are fewer tourists and the pale pink flowers glow against the dark sky.

Anapji (Anap Pond) (경주 안압지)

Anapji is located in the city of Gyeongju-si. It is aso located just north of Gyeongjuwolseong. This man-made pond was created during the Shilla Dynasty approximately 1,500 years ago. Three buildings stand on three artificial islands while loads of lotus flowers complete the look. The gloreous exterior lighting in the night create a magical view, easy enough to take your mind off everything and just relax. This would be the perfect place to go when you are stressed out.

Silk Fall, Jiri Mountain (지리산 뱀사골 실비단폭포)

Located in the Jiri Mountains, the silk fall is known for it's beautiful structure like "silk". Sadly, this waterfall is now a restricted area of the Jiri Mountains, anyone caught venturing near it will have  to pay a fine of ₩500,000 ($427.56).
